New £50 deposit scheme introduced

We are keen to let as many people as possible in the Borders try an e-bike for a month, currently for no charge!  

Unfortunately, we have had a number of bikes returned in poor shape and accessories such as helmets, pumps and locks broken or not returned. We've also had a couple of bikes returned with the wheels off which incurred additional costs for us to get our mechanic to reassemble them.  To counter this, we are going to introduce a £50 deposit scheme for all future bookings.

This will be returned once the bike and all accessories are returned in good condition. Our post-trial survey asks for your bank details so that we can repay you quickly.

We apologise for having to do this - it's something we have thought long and hard about but the current situation is just not sustainable for us when we're trying to get the bikes out for no charge to as many people as we can reach!
