We provide people with an ebike to use for a month at a time and our collection and return is usually the last weekend of the month.  We ask you to complete a booking form and free ebike trials are conditional on you completing a questionnaire about your experience at the end of your trial.

 

Bikes MUST be collected and returned to our storage facility at Tweedbank on a specific date and time. You will be given details of where and when to collect when you ask to book. It’s important you ensure you can make these dates and times because we do not have the resources to offer any flexibility when it comes to collection or return. There will be a charge of £30 to return a bike outside of our normal return window to cover the costs of us paying someone to attend outside of their normal working hours.

 

When you come to collect, a member of the team will give you instruction on how to operate the controls and ride the bike and you can do a short test ride.

 

Thanks to funding from SESTran we are currently able to offer ebike trials to Borderers who have not tried one of our bikes before, free of charge until April 2026.”
