eBikes for Borderers is made up of a number of volunteers and a few paid staff.
Today we are introducing our new Service Manager Ania. She's the person you're most likely to meet when you come to collect a bike.

Ania has been a keen cyclist and cycle tourer for the past eight years. She is mainly focused on touring and bikepacking. She has also taken part in a few more challenging bike events over the years.
As a cycle trainer and ride leader Ania says:
"I’m passionate about getting more people into cycling and helping others discover the joy of exploring by bike, whether on a day trip, commuting, or heading out on longer adventures."

Ania goes on to talk about the recent partnership between EB4B and Just Cycle:
"October was the first month we joined forces with Just Cycle and used their facilities, along with their bike mechanic Grant, on our changeover day. It proved to be a great success, and both Marianne and Grant have been really helpful. His skills allowed us to smoothly fix all the small wear-and-tear issues on the bikes being returned, and get them ready to go out to new hirers. It was also great to have indoor space available in case of rain. We’ll definitely continue working with Just Cycle for the foreseeable future on our changeover days."
You can pop into Just Cycle to find some leaflets with more information about our EB4B project. It’s also an excellent local bike shop, with skilled mechanics and a good range of accessories to keep you covered.
The EB4B Team would like to warmly welcome Ania who has already hit the ground running ... or should we say cycling.
